PESHAWAR: Eid al-Adha is being celebrated on Tuesday by Afghan refugees in tribal areas and several districts of Khyber Pukhtunkhaw province, sources said.
The Afghan refugees offered Eid prayers at five open places in Peshawar and specially prayed for the security and safety of the country on this occasion, sources said.
Likewise, Eid prayers were also offered in Abbotabad, Mardan, Bannu and other districts of the province besides Mohmand Agency, Khyber Agency and other tribal areas, where in observance of the Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi Afghan refugees slaughtered sacrificial animals.
