Talking to media, the TTP spokesman Shahidullah Shahid said that the group is ready to ceasefire if the government stops the dumping of bodies of Taliban members.

On Tuesday, Maulana Yousuf Shah, who acts as contact person for the TTP, said that the TTP has assured that all its factions have agreed to ceasefire.

Shah said that all militant groups are bound to obey the decision of the TTP, adding that the Taliban have empowered the dialogue committee and Maulana Samiul Haq to take any decision in this regard.
