Pakistan Air Force (PAF) starts strike on TTP hideouts after ensuring sealing of border by US force at Afghan side. PAF strikes Uzbek, Turkmani, Tajik and other Central Asian commanders battalions were attacked.

Islamabad: Pakistan has promise from US military to seal Pak-Afghan border on the side of Afghanistan so fighters of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) can be stopped to run towards Afghan areas as Pakistan Air Force has resorted air strikes on TTP hideouts. It may be mentioned that PAF started air strikes on January 21 but strikes were halted on the instruction of Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif when peace talks were initiated.

US Chief of Central Command, General Lloyd J Austin during his meeting Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif ensured his full support and directed his staff to collaborate with Pakistan Army in this regard. Sources maintained that  a detailed discussion also took place between the 2 generals over the situation on Pak-Afghan border.

Meanwhile, Taliban Committee believes that Peace talks between Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan and government of Pakistan are not halted but situation is getting closer to same situation where both parties were standing before attack on GHQ entry gate. Pakistan air force has resorted air attacks in North Waziristan and Taliban during the peace talks continue attacking law enforcing agencies.
