QUETTA: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Quetta on Monday ordered former President Pervez Musharraf to appear before it on April 21 in Bugti murder case, adding that it will issue arrest warrants against him if he fails to appear before it.
The ATC Judge Tariq Ahmed Kasi was hearing a case relating to the murder of Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Akbar Bugti in Quetta on Monday.
During the hearing, the former federal interior minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao and the former home minister Balochistan Mir Shoaib Nowsherwani appeared before the court in relation to the case. The court ordered both former ministers to reappear before it on April 21.
The court expressing its annoyance over Musharraf’s absence once again ordered him to appear and said if he didn’t appear this time also his arrest warrant would be issued.
The court also ordered his guarantors to appear in the court on next hearing of the case.
