ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) senior leader Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan Abbasi has been appointed as the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Thursday.
President Mamnoon Hussain signed the summary of Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan as next governor moved by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Abbasi is expected to be sworn in later in the day at the Governor House in Peshawar.
His appointment comes after Engineer Shaukatullah Khan submitted his resignation from the post.
