PESHAWAR: Unknown gunmen opened fire at three containers, carrying supplies to NATO forces in Afghanistan, in the Jamrud tehsil of Khyber tribal region on Monday that left at least two persons killed and three others injured.
The incident took place near Karkhano Market in Wazir Dhand area of Jamrud tehsil, the political administration officials said.
Following the incident, the security forces cordoned off the area while traffic was suspended on main Pak-Afghan Highway.
