KARACHI: A 5.0 magnitude earthquake struck various parts of the Nawabshah district in Sindh province in the early hours of Friday, killing at least two persons and injuring 50 others.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 27 km North East of Nawabshah with a depth of 10 km.
Several houses were damaged due to the earthquake.
The injured were shifted to Nawabshah’s civil hospital where an emergency has been declared.
