ISLAMABAD: An accountability court in Islamabad on Wednesday acquitted former President Asif Ali Zardari in the polo ground NAB reference.
However, the court dismissed petitions seeking the former president’s acquittal in the SGS and Contecna references and ordered for presenting more witnesses in both the cases.
The accountability court judge Muhammad Bashir heard the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) references against the former president.
The court will announce the decision in the ARY and Ursus tractors references on June 4.
