WASHINGTON: The US Secretary of State John Kerry has reaffirmed his country’s commitment to working with Pakistan in its efforts to counter terrorism, the US state department said in reference to his meeting with the Pakistani prime minister’s advisor on the national security and foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz in London.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation, regional situation and Pakistan-India relations.
The US state department deputy spokesperson Marie Harf told reporters in Washington that John Kerry reaffirmed US commitment to working with Pakistan in its efforts to counter terrorism.
The spokesperson said that said the two officials also exchanged views on Iraq situation.
