NWA bomb attack claims two soldiers’ lives

MIRANSHAH: A roadside blast killed two Pakistani Army soldiers and injured two others on the Miranshah-Dattakhel road in North Waziristan, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 30 December, 2012.

According to military officials, the convoy was on its way to Dattakhel near the Afghan border when it was targetted with an improvised explosive device (IED). Unknown people had planted the IED apparently to target the military convoy.

The said the security forces immediately cordoned off the area but did not face any resistance. The two injured soldiers were shifted to a hospital in the Pakistan Army camp in Miranshah.
