PYONGYANG: North Korea will indict and try two detained US tourists for crimes against the state, country’s official news agency reported on Monday.
The cases against US citizens the 56-year-ol Jeffrey Fowle and the 24-year-old Matthew Miller will be proceeded under their hostile acts confirmed by evidence and their own testimonies, the new agency said.
Miller was detained in North Korea for his absurd behavior after he tore up his tourist visa and demanded asylum upon arriving in Pyongyang on April 10 while Fowle was arrested in early June.
