KABUL: A US drone strike was carried out in Afghanistan’s eastern province of Kunar on early Monday, killing at least three suspected Taliban militants.
The strike took place in the Marawara district of Kunar province near the Pak-Afghan border.
The provincial security chief General Abdul Habib Syed Khel confirmed the deaths of three Taliban militants in the drone strike.
