ISLAMABAD: The Turkish government on Monday donated 150,000 doses of meningitis vaccine worth $6.6 million for the intending Pakistani Hajj pilgrims in 2014.
The first secretary of Turkish embassy handed over the vaccine to the joint secretary ministry of religious affairs Shahzad Ahmed at a ceremony in Islamabad on Monday.
The vaccine will be administered to pilgrims at the time of training at Haji camps before leaving for Saudi Arabia.
