COLOMBO: The Sri Lankan authorities postponed the digging of a mass grave containing the bodies of nearly 100 Muslims killed by Tamil Tiger rebels 24 years ago till August 18.
The site had to be dug up on Tuesday but it was postponed due to the absence of judicial, medical and forensic officers.
It is believed that the suspected mass grave contains the bodies of nearly 100 Muslims who were killed by Tamil rebels in the east coast town of Kalavanchikudy in 1990.
