ISLAMABAD: The federal minister for information Pervaiz Rasheed has said that the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri is an anti-democracy figure.

In an interview, the information minister said that Dr Tahirul Qadri has nothing to do with law and the constitution.

The minister said that Qadri’s so called revolution is led by Sheikh Rashid and supported by Chaudhries of Gujrat which is destiny to flop.

His remarks came in response to a press conference held by the PAT Chief in Lahore on Thursday, at which Dr Tahirul Qadri said that the present government would be toppled within a few weeks.

The PAT Chief also asked the government employees to quit services or reject the unlawful orders of the government.

Qadri further said that the revolution was his commitment to the nation, saying he would soon announce ‘Youm-e-Inquilaab’ (day of revolution).
