LAHORE, Pakistan: The former President and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari will meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at Raiwind on Saturday afternoon to discuss the prevailing political crisis in the country.
The opposition leader in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah, the opposition leader in the Senate Aitzaz Ahsan, Mian Raza Rabbani and Rehman Malik will accompany the former president who arrived in Lahore earlier in the day through a special flight from Karachi.
On the other hand, the prime minister will be assisted by the federal ministers Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Abdul Qadir Baloch and Khawaja Saad Rafique during the meeting.
On Friday, the prime minister called the PPP co-chairman for a lunch on Saturday which the former president accepted.
Zardari will also meet Ch. Shujaat Hussian after his meeting with Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif.
