Pakistan, Malaysia agree to strengthen trade ties

NEW YORK: Pakistan and Malaysia have agreed to further strengthen bilateral trade and economic linkages.

The understanding came in a meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Malaysian counterpart Muhammad Najeeb Abdul Razzaq held on the sidelines of the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Friday.

The prime minister said that Malaysian companies can benefit from profitable investment opportunities in Pakistan.
