The interior minister will head the committee to be formed to prepare a national plan of action against terrorism within a week.

It was decided when leaders of all political parties met in Peshawar on Wednesday to discuss ways to form a strategy to stop terrorist activities and flush out all terrorists from the country.

The committee will have one representative each from parliamentary and other political parties. The representatives of the armed forces and intelligence agencies will also be part of the committee.

The national plan of action would be presented before the national political leadership in seven days for approval. It will then be placed before the nation by national political and military leadership.
