ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit the United Kingdom on Friday to hold official talks on bilateral, regional and global issues with his British counterpart David Cameron.
The three-day visit of Nawaz Sharif to UK is being undertaken on the invitation of the British prime minister, said a statement issued by the Foreign Office in Islamabad.
During his visit, the prime minister will participate in the National Commemoration of the Centenary of Gallipoli Campaign and ANZAC Day where he will interact with other participating leaders and dignitaries.
The prime minster is also expected to meet British leaders and business executives during his visit.
Last time, Nawaz Sharif visited the United Kingdom was in November last year where he inaugurated the Pakistan-UK Energy Dialogue and Investment Conference in London on November 13.
The latest Nawaz’s visit to UK comes a day after he accompanied by a high level delegation paid a day-long visit to Saudi Arabia and held meetings with the Saudi leaders in Riyadh, and assured them of Pakistan’s full support in the prevailing crisis in Yemen.
