In a statement on Wednesday, the Afghanistan’s National Directorate of Security (NDS) Spokesman Hassib Sediqi said that the Afghan authorities have confirmed Pakistani military interference in Kabul attacks.

“Special circles of the Pakistani military were behind all those attacks,” he was quoted as saying by foreign news agencies.

The NDS spokesman claimed that the Pakistanis were working through the Haqqani Network.

His statement came a few days after the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai also lambasted Pakistan over a recent wave of terrorist attacks in Kabul.

“The last few days have shown that suicide bomber training camps and bomb-producing factories which are killing our people are as active as before in Pakistan,” Ashraf Ghani said in a news conference in Kabul on Monday.

“We hoped for peace but we are receiving messages of war from Pakistan,” he added.

In response, Pakistan said that it considers enemies of Afghanistan as its own enemies and willing to extend fullest cooperation to Kabul in combating terrorism.

“Terrorism is our common enemy and requires cooperative approach to combat this menace,” the Foreign Office Spokesman Qazi Khalilullah said in Islamabad in response to the statement made by the Afghan president.
