MANDI BAHAUDDIN, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that Rangers preparation must be up to the mark as they are dealing with an invisible enemy.
In his address at the 30th passing out parade of Punjab Rangers at the Pakistan Rangers Academy in Mandi Bahauddin on Wednesday, Nisar said that Rangers have the responsibility to safeguard the country and ensure its security.
“Rangers have the responsibility to defend country’s frontiers as well as counter terrorism inside the country,” Nisar said.
The minister said that the Rangers have to counter the enemy who is spreading anarchy and chaos in the country in the name of Islam and targeting women and children.
Nisar reiterated the government’s resolve to wipe out terrorism from the country and said that no stone will be left unturned in this regard.
“We have to win the war against terrorism at all costs for development and prosperity of the country,” he said.
The interior minister said that the country is facing numerous problems relating to country’s security and terrorism.
Nisar said that the terrorists are creating chaos in the country by getting financial help from the enemies of the country.
In addition, the minister announced that the government has allocated Rs45 billion for the civil armed forces.
