QUETTA, Pakistan: The Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that there are reports of killing of Dr Allah Nazar Baloch, the leader of outlawed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
“According to unverified reports Dr Allah Nazar has been killed … I say unverified because we have not yet received any evidence of his being alive ever since the Frontier Corps conducted a series of operations. There has been no human intelligence, no sign of life,” Sarfraz Bugti said at a news conference in Quetta on Tuesday.
Bugti further told that the security forces in an operation have arrested seven terrorists belonging to various banned outfits in Balochistan.
The provincial home minister said that the security forces also destructed communication centre being used by the terrorists, adding that this centre was situated at the top of a hill.
In addition, he said that it has been disclosed that the terrorists used mobile phone subscriber identity modules (SIMs) of Afghanistan, India and various European countries.
