guanxi blast

Guangxi officially the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is a Chinese autonomous region in South Central China, bordering Vietnam. Formerly a province, Guangxi became an autonomous region in 1958.

Liuzhou, Guangxi

Police chief of Liuzhou, Guangxi  while talking to state run media said that parcels containing explosives cause massive explosions in several different places in city and called it a terrorist activity.

Social media reports and twitter messages suggest that over 50 persons are injured and police have cordoned off areas where blast took place.

This area of China had no history of terrorism as this is far away from Muslim dominant areas and bomb blasts are unexpected and unusual in this peaceful region.

A woman who was going out from shopping mall where blast took place twitted that she just saw her death and she could be victim of blast if she could have been inside. One photo of a building collapsed indicated that one side of entire building is now just caved inn suggesting that very massive chemical has been used for blasts.
