ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Academy of Educational Planning and Management (AEPAM) has trained over 12,000 educational managers from across the country since 1982.
According to a press release, AEPAM conducts both short-term and long- term training programmes for planners and educational managers working at different administrative levels. It has trained 670 education managers by conducting 26 training workshops of one week duration each since July 2012.
Meanwhile, Director Training Dr Dawood Shah inaugurated a training workshop. The workshop would continue till December 11. As many as 26 across country education managers are attending the workshop.
A total of 7 participants of workshop hailing from Punjab, 4 each from Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 5 from Balochistan, 2 each from Fata and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) and one each from Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Addressing the audience, he highlighted the importance of good governance and financial management. He advised participants to take keen interest in the various activities of the workshop.
He hoped that after attending the workshop participants would be able to use the financial resources as per rules and regulations and they will keep financial discipline.
Director (training) Akhtar Tatla highlighted the methodology of the workshop and briefed participants about the major topics to be covered during the workshop.
