NUR-SULTAN: During 2019-2020 educational year, a pilot project is planned to be launched at universities in Kazakhstan to educate Afghan female students.

This was reported in the European External Relations Service.

The project was launched by the relevant departments of Kazakhstan through the United Nations. Currently, the ministries of education of all three countries have completed design and term of reference of this program while session of education for Afghan female students will start in September 2019.

At the first stage, students will learn English, and at the second stage – statistics and management in the mining sector. It is planned that from 50 to 100 women will participate in the program.

According to REGNUM news agency, in January 2018, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres highly appreciated the Kazakhstan educational program on cooperation with Afghanistan.

Kazakhstan has international level universities and offer several courses in different educational fields including humanity group as well as well in sciences.
