ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Professor Ahsan Iqbal Wednesday said that the government was making all out efforts prevent and treat cancer disease in the country.
While inaugurating Breast Cancer Center at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad, he said that the center would be equipped with modern facilities on priority for treatment of cancer patients.
The minister said that it was first center of its kind where the breast cancer patients would be provided best treatment.
Ahsan Iqbal said that the government was taking steps to make the PIMS a state-of-the-art hospital.
The federal minister also participated in a walk held for awareness against the breast cancer.
