Yes, Aima Baig has officially called off the engagement by posting on her official Instagram account. She and Shahbaz Shigri were too close at the beginning of their relationship. But, for a few months, they were not seen anywhere together. Recently, the ex-couple unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted all the pictures of each other from their accounts.
The unfollowing and deletion of pictures were followed by complete silence from both sides. Aima Baig and Shahbaz Shigri did not talk about it ever again. They also stopped appearing together. It alerted the netizens of their breakup and they kept on looking for more hints. However, the couple did not respond to any of those rumours regarding their breakup.
Aima’s Take On Announcement
After all the prolonged silence, the rockstar, Aima Baig posted on her Instagram account. In the post, she confirmed her separation from her Fiance Shahbaz Shigri. She left a heartful note in her post regarding the respect and beautiful memories that she has spent with Shahbaz. She also asked the audience to not send any ‘feeling sorry’ texts as it seems a mutual decision. She seems completely fine with the breakup.
In her post, she said, “Yes, I will always respect this person for giving me a good time. Sometimes, shit happens and happens for a reason. And to answer to all the questions, yes we have parted ways. But we both are doing good and fine so dont worry. I wanted to do it in the most respectful way and so I did.”
She further added, “People can choose their ways of expressing their feelings, that defines who they are from the inside. That’s me, telling the truth to anyone wondering are they or are they not together? And the answer is Nope, me and Shahbaz are not together anymore.”
She ended her note with, ” P.s no more ‘feeling sorry texts’ please! We doing just fine. Music is life, let’s see where it takes.”
