ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan on Monday took charge as the 22nd Chief of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for a three-year term in a prestigious Change in Command ceremony held in Islamabad.
The outgoing Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman will hand over the command of PAF to Air Chief Mujahid Anwar Khan.
In his address at the Change in Command Ceremony, the outgoing Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman said that PAF has played key role in the national security and war against terrorism. He said that in the recent years national defence has further been strengthened.
Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman said that serving Pakistan Air Force for 40 years has been a matter of pride for me.
Sohail Aman said that Pakistan Air force is being equipped with the modern technology. He said that despite hurdles the cooperation of officers is praiseworthy.

Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan has graduated from the Air War College and National Defence University (NDU), Islamabad. He is a qualified flying Instructor.
Prior to being designated as new Chief of PAF, Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan was appointed as the Deputy Chief of the Air Staff in Air Headquarters Islamabad.
