MUMBAI: Shahrukh Khan’s Eid ul Fitr Party, which coincided with the record box office collections of his latest, Chennai Express was a star-studded night!
Almost the whole of B town descended to Shahrukh Khan’s Eid ul Fitr party held at Mannat, on Saturday! The Bachchans were spotted arriving in their Rolls Royce; Amitabh Bachchan as usual was behind the wheel accompanied by beta Abhishek and bahu Aishwarya who took the backseat. Shweta Bachchan Nanda was also present with both her kids. Yesteryear actors Dilip Kumar and wife Saira Banu also graced the event. SRK, a perfect host that he is drove the aged couple home after the bash… How sweet!
Hrithik Roshan, who underwent a brain surgery recently, was also present at the bash. Other popular celebs who attended the bash included Karan Johar, Mehr Jesia Rampal, Farah Khan, Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukerji, Kangna Ranaut, Karisma Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Lara Dutta with husband Mahesh Bhupathi and Boney Kapoor with Sridevi.
Sushmita Sen had also come to the bash with both her daughters, Sanjay Kapoor was accompanied with wife, Manyata Dutt made up for Sanjay Dutt’s absence with Bunty Walia, Sushant Singh Rajput was seen with girlfriend Ankita Lokhande, Dino Morea walked in with girlfriend Nandita Mathani. Also seen were Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Arjun Kapoor, Jay Mehta, Tarun Mansukhani, Harman Baweja, Mohammed Morani and Mushtaq Sheikh. Shahrukh certainly didn’t leave out anyone from his party, no? Or, did he?
Apart from Bollywood, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and business tycoon Mukesh Ambani with his wife Neeta and kids, Isha, Anant and Akash were also spotted at the bash!
While SRK’s Chennai Express director, Rohit Shetty attended the party, his co-star Deepika Padukone decided to miss the event. She couldn’t have been busy with Ram Leela though, as director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was spotted at SRK’s bash… Other notable absentees were Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and of course, Priyanka Chopra…
