ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Amir of the State of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will arrive in Pakistan on Saturday for a two-day visit from June 22 to 23, 2019 on the invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency reported.
His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani would be accompanied by a high level delegation comprising key ministers and senior officials. The Amir of Qatar had earlier visited Pakistan in March 2015.
The Amir of Qatar will hold talks with Prime Minister Imran Khan and will have meeting with President Dr Arif Alvi.
The two sides will discuss ways and means of building a robust and mutually beneficial economic partnership.
During the visit, Pakistan and Qatar will sign Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs)/agreements for enhanced bilateral cooperation in different areas.
The visit of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is expected to further strengthen the close fraternal ties between Pakistan and Qatar and deepen bilateral cooperation in diverse fields.
