CAIRO, Egypt: A meeting of the Arab foreign ministers will be held in Cairo on Monday to discuss the escalating conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza strip.
More than 120 Palestinians including many women and children have been killed since Israel launched its so-called ‘Operation Protective Edge’ on Gaza on July 8 in an attempt to halt cross-border rocket fire attacks by Hamas.
Kuwait, the current rotating president of the Arab League summit, requested on Friday an urgent Arab foreign ministers meeting to discuss the deterioration of the situation in the Gaza strip.
