Islamabad: Leaders of political parties including of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), MQM, ANP and other small political groups have demanded the arrest of Syed Munawar Hassan Ameer Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan who has called Hakimullah Mehsud as a Shaheed (Martyr) and claim that members of Pakistan Army who are being killed by Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are not Shaheed.
Meanwhile youth of Pakistan is also expressing its hatred against JI on social media. However JI leadership is still trying to save its Ameer stating that his statement has not been understood by the people.
“Syed Munawar Hassan Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Pakistan is a traitor and a case must be registered against him and he must be punished before it is too late”, expressed one student of Political Science when he was asked to comment on the statement of JI chief.
It may be mentioned that Deoband sect of Islam and its followers religious parties of Pakistan including JUI and JI are supporting Jihad in Pakistan for placing Islamic rule in the country. In Islamic rule there is no place for a regular army or a paid army this is the reason that JI and JUI have been supporting TTP Jihad against Pakistan Army
