LAHORE: Asghar Nadeem Syed, a Pakistani well known drama writer and poet, was seriously injured when two unknown gunmen riding motorcycles opened fire on his vehicle in the limits of Johar Town police station in Lahore on Tuesday.
Police said that the incident took place near Shaukat Khanum hospital, adding that Asghar Nadeem Syed received two bullets in his chest and three in his arms.
Asghar Nadeem Syed was shifted to the Jinnah hospital where he was being provided medical treatment, police added.
