World Tourism Day being celebrated today
PESHAWAR, Pakistan: As the World including Pakistan is celebrating ‘World Tourism Day’ today, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Tourism Atif Khan has invited tourists to visit the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to see the majestic beauty and diversity of Mother Nature.
“I assure you that you will enjoy the traditional hospitality of our people and would leave with loving memories,” Atif Khan in a Twitter message on Thursday.

The ‘World Tourism Day’ is being celebrated on Thursday (September 27) throughout the World under the theme ‘Tourism and the Digital Transformation’.
KPK also organized jeep rally on ‘World Tourism Day’
Meanwhile, a Jeep Rally was organized in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as part of activities being held in connection with ‘World Tourism Day’ under the auspices of the Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP).
More than 70 jeeps participated in the Bab-e-Khyber-Swabi rally, which was aimed at to promote tourism and highlight the potential and vital importance of tourism among the public of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the outer World.

In his message on the occasion, President Dr. Arif Alvi said that the incumbent government will make all possible efforts to promote tourism and transform it into a robust industry.
The president hoped that Pakistan will be turned into one of the best travel destinations in the world by effectively deploying Information Technology to promote tourism in the Country.
