The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan has strongly denounced the terrorist attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur district on Sunday, leaving over 40 people martyred.
On Sunday afternoon, at least 44 people martyred while more than 100 injured in a blast in the Workers Convention of Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) at Khar area of Bajaur district.
“We strongly condemn the terrorist attack at the Political Convention in Bajaur,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

The ministry said that we stand with brotherly Pakistan against this terrorist act that killed 44 and injured more than 100 people.
“We express condolences to the Government, victims & their families,” it added.
The reports said that a total of 81 injured of the Bajaur blast have been admitted in hospitals in Khar, Timergara and Peshawar.
While 19 injured are admitted in District Headquarters (DHQ) Khar Hospital, 5 in Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Lower Dir, 27 in DHQ Hospital Timergara.
Similarly, 14 injured are under treatment in Combined Military Hospital (CMH) while 16 in Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar.
