The first CKD unit of the off-roader jeep is displayed in a privately held event. According to the rumors, the commercial mass production of BAIC BJ40 Plus will start in October 2021. Performance Details
The Wrangler-inspired jeep from BAIC comes in both, petrol and diesel, engines. The power output of both 2.0L engines is the same. So, you can expect a 218hp ad 270Nm torque when it comes to the vehicle’s performance. Moreover, you can also find a 6-speed automatic transmission system mated with the engine.
Exterior
This powerful jeep has everything that you can desire on an off-road trip. The front of the SUV gives a tough look with the installed fog lamps. While this may be true, here’s the exciting part: You can remove the doors and roof of the jeep as per your need.
Additionally, you can also fold the windscreen of your BJ40 Plus. Just like the front, the rear end of the jeep also gives a highly aggressive and stunning look.
Interior
One of the key highlights of this jeep is its super comfortable interior. BAIC has managed to maintain a rugged look and feel on the outside while ensuring comfort on the inside. You can find 11-inch infotainment floating touchscreen unit that allows control from the center console.
What makes it even more special is the option for all five passengers to recline and adjust their seats.
