Balochistan govt imposes flood emergency

QUETTA, Pakistan: The Balochistan government on Tuesday imposed the flood emergency in view of possible flash flood in eastern districts of the province bordering with Sindh province.

In a statement, the provincial home minister Mir Sarfaraz Ahmad Bugti said that the provincial government has cancelled the leaves of the staff of the provincial disaster management authority (PDMA) and issued red alert in Jaffarabad, Naseerabad, Sohbatpur and Dera Bugti districts.
