QUETTA: A blast went off in Chaman, a town along the Pak-Afghan border, on Monday that left at least two persons killed and eight others injured, police said.
The bomb blast occurred near the Bab-e-Dosti gate at the border outside a mosque, police said.
After the blast, security forces cordoned off the area. The injured were rushed to the district hospital.
Security forces also foiled a second possible attack after explosives were discovered next to the hospital’s gate.
