KABUL: At least two persons were killed and three others injured when a bomb planted on a bicycle went off in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan on Tuesday, an Afghan official said.
The blast took place early on Tuesday on the outskirts of Jalalabad, Nangarhar’s capital, provincial spokesman Ahmad Zia Abdulzai said.
NATO also says one of its service members has been killed in eastern Afghanistan on Tuesday from a ”direct fire” attack.
It provided no other details or the nationality of the service member.
