KOHAT, Pakistan: An explosion took place in a passenger van at Peshawar Chowk in Kohat on Saturday, killing at least six persons and injuring 17 others.
“The blast occurred at a small bus stop in Kohat city. At least two vehicles were damaged in the explosion,” the district police chief in Kohat Salim Khan Marwat told a foreign news agency.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast as yet.
Earlier, at least seven persons including a child were injured in a blast that took place on the Spini Road near Bakra Mandi in Quetta.
