MANILA: An improvised explosive device (IED) went off in southern part of Philippine that left at least six persons dead and 10 others injured, a military official said.
The spokesman of armed forces Lt. Col. Ramon Zagala said that the explosion occurred during a New Year’s party late Tuesday in Sumisip town of Basilan province.
