ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: In a praiseworthy development, Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has uploaded PDF Copies of the Course Books on the university website for the Programs offered in the Spring 2020 Semester including Matriculation, FA, Certificate Courses and BA.
Books have also been dispatched to the registered students while Course Books for higher education level programs would be uploaded soon.
The Director Information & Communication Technology Muhammad Ajmal Farooq informed that this process was initiated in the Spring 2019 Semester which was highly appreciated by the students and record number of books was downloaded.
This initiative not only greatly improved the delivery mechanism of the Course Books but also reduced the number of complaints related to delay in the mailing of books.

The Vice-Chancellor AIOU Professor Dr. Zia Ul Qayyum expressed his views regarding the paradigm shift at AIOU and said that university exclusively focuses on facilitating students by shifting educational and academic activities from manual handling to automation.
University’s operational system is now being fully digitalized.
Moreover, admissions and workshops for face to face programs have also been switched to the online system.
Now it has been made mandatory for the students of all post-graduate programs to submit their assignments on Aaghi LMS.
