ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew held a meeting with the Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Islamabad on Tuesday, and discussed matters of mutual interest.

The PPP senior leaders Senator Sheri Rehman and Mustafa Nawaz Khokar were also present in the meeting.

Bilawal has recently been more proactive with regards to his diplomatic engagements as apart from visiting Switzerland to address various forums in Davos on the Sidelines of annual World Economic Forum (WEF) 2018, he also held meetings with diplomats from different Countries including France, United Kingdom and European Union (EU).

Earlier on Monday, Bilawal held a luncheon meeting with the European Union ambassador Jean-François Cautain at the residence of Senator Sherry Rehman and exchanged views on matters of mutual interests.

Separately, the Chairman PPP also met the French ambassador to Pakistan Marc Baréty, who along with the French Consul General Dall’Orso François, called on him at Bilawal House in Karachi yesterday.

While in Davos, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari spoke on a panel about “Fake News versus Real Politics” at WEF annual meeting on January 24 as well as gave an interview to an Indian Channel which also earned him a lot of appreciation from the Country’s top journalists.
