The 25-year-old Captain Zarghaam Fareed embraced martyrdom while neutralizing an improvised explosive device (IED) detected at Mohmad Gat in Mohmand District, the Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said in a tweet on Wednesday.
The director general ISPR told that Captain Zarghaam Fareed was unmarried and belonged to Sargodha.
Major General Asif Ghafoor also told that Sepoy Rehan of Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) got critically injured in the unfortunate incident.
“Another son of soil laid his life while performing duty. Capt Zarghaam Fareed embraced martyrdom while neutralising an IED detected at Mohmad Gat in Mohmand Distt. Sepoy Rehan of BD team got critically injured. 25 years old Capt Zarghaam was unmarried and belonged to Sargodha,” tweet by the director ISPR states.
