ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Monday started construction work on Rs seven million flower clock being set up at the Zoo Chowk in Islamabad.
CDA Member Environment Sanaullah Amaan formally inaugurated the project that would be completed within one month.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, he said the projects initiated for beautification of the federal capital would be completed at the earliest.
Under the beautification plan, he said, the civic body would launch 10 different mega projects which would be completed within a 12-month period.
Sanaullah said the flower clocks would also be established at entry points of the capital including Golra and Rawat Chowks aimed at giving a pleasant look to passers-by and motorists.
He expressed confidence that CDA would make the federal capital clean and green.
