Bhurban, Murree Islamabad: Conference about “Media and Extremist Narrative” starts today. Conference is arranged by South Asian Free Media Association (SAFMA) Pakistan.
In opening remarks Secretary General Safma Imtiaz Alam gave a background of extremism in Pakistan and was of the view that Media should come forward to play its role against this extremism otherwise media would also become its victim later or sooner.
Khadim Hussian who is a veteran columnist gave background of the issue in Pakistan and was of the view that work must be done toward planning minds for peace orientation instead of terrorism. Conference can be watched at
