ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: With the emergence of 12 more Cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic in Sindh, the virus tally in the Country has reached 106 while the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on National Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza expressed the confidence that with collective efforts, we will overcome the virus.

Out of a total of 94 Coronavirus Cases, 88 have so far been witnessed in Sindh, 10 in Balochistan, 5 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 2 in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) while 1 in Punjab.

However, none of them is serious while two Coronavirus-infected patients have already fully recovered and discharged from the hospital.

Meanwhile presiding over a meeting of the emergency core group in Islamabad on Monday, Dr Zafar Mirza said that Pakistan is fully prepared to cope with the challenge of Coronavirus.

The Special Assistant said that facilities of Coronavirus test are being provided in 14 laboratories. He said that the people having cough, fever and breathing problem can contact the Ministry Of Health on Helpline 1166 whilst staying at home.

So far across the globe, 6,520 deaths of COVID-19 have been registered while 85,611 persons yet remain infected with the virus.

Most numbers of deaths have occurred in China wherein the tally has climbed to 3,213 followed by Italy wherein 1,809 people have succumbed to the virus. Iran remains the third most affected Country with 724 deaths.
