SIALKOT, Pakistan: An Anti-Terrorism Court has convicted 88 accused in the Sri Lankan Citizen Priyantha Kumara’s Killing Case.
The Court handed down death sentence on two counts to six accused besides ordering them to pay compensation of Rs 200,000 each to the legal heirs of the deceased.

The Anti-Terrorism Court handed down life imprisonment to nine accused along with a fine of Rs 200,000 each and as much amount of compensation to the legal heirs of the deceased.
The Court awarded two years imprisonment on three counts to 72 accused.
It also awarded five years imprisonment to one accused while acquitted another one from the charges.
The 49-year-old Sri Lankan Factory Manager Priyantha Kumara was tortured to death and his body was set on fire in Sialkot on December 3, 2021 over blasphemy allegations.
