ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has decided to open up the COVID-19 vaccination for all people aged 30 years and above from May 22, 2021.

Till now, a total of 5,151,043 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the people in the Country.

On May 20, 194,421 people were vaccinated across the Country, according to the NCOC.

Meanwhile, 102 more people succumbed to COVD-19 in the last 24 hours across the Country.

Out of them, 64 people died in Punjab, 20 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15 in Sindh, 2 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and 1 in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).

The NCOC told that 51,528 COVID tests were conducted across the Country in the last 24 hours and 3,070 of them returned positive recording a ratio of 5.95%.

So far, a total of 893,461 Coronavirus Cases have been registered in Pakistan, 20,089 people have died of the virus, and 810,143 people have recovered from the disease.

As of May 21, 63,229 COVID-19 patients remain under treatment across the Country.
