ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Saudi Crown Prince His Royal Highness Mohammad Bin Salman has ordered the immediate release of 2107 Pakistani prisoners incarcerated in Saudi Jails, the Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry said on Monday.

The highly positive gesture arrived from the Saudi Crown Prince after Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing the banquet held at PM House last night in honour of the visiting dignitaries requested him to take steps to release 3,000 Pakistan citizens from Saudi prisons involved in minor crimes.
HRH Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman has graciously agreed to free 2107 Pakistani prisoners in Saudi Arabia with immediate effect. Cases of the remaining will be reviewed. People of Pakistan thank HRH for responding immediately to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s request.

Imran Khan also made a special request to Mohammad Bin Salman to look into the hardships of Pakistani labourers working in the kingdom, and to look upon them as your own people.
The prime minister also requested the Saudi Crown Prince treat Pakistani Hajj Pilgrims as respected citizens of Saudi Arabia and provide best facilities during the Hajj.
